My Experience and History With Eastern Medicine
Massage was present in my life long ago as a child through my Mom. I wasn’t aware of this existence nor did I appreciate the benefits and effects, but awaken through Shiatsu/acupressure applied by myself in 2005. Through this experience was an inspiration which I finally decided this was the profession for me. It was a turning point and a new chapter in my life. I also turned to freeing myself from prescription medication, over-the-counter medication and leading to holistic and homeopathic practice.
I am passionate about this profession because of the natural self-healing of no side effects like comparison to many prescription medications. I'm mindful that everyone’s body is different, through my experience of receiving massage has given me more awareness in being in tuned of my mental and physiological senses.
Clients come to me to receive therapeutic massage due to their chronic and acute pain, busy schedule in their life, receive a relaxing massage, and as well as maintenance for their better health and well-ness towards a better quality of life as well as clients diagnosed by their physician of challenges from their developed disease.
Another passion is awareness on commercial made products. More preservatives and additives are included that I felt in need to manage what our family ate. My first passion was making homemade meals and baked goods. Now I've started to grow our organic garden which I've found our vegetables to be higher in chlorophyll that has a rich and more flavorful taste. I truly enjoy this and will continue my sustainable homestead and balance my professional practice as a certified massage therapist in California as well as my current massage therapist license in Michigan. As I continue to assist my clients in their therapeutic massage sessions, I hope to assist and be resourceful to my clients of my healthy lifestyle as well.
